WinterBreak2006 :: San Francisco, California

The marvellous san francisco. That was the last place we visited for winter holiday. A very beautiful and artistic town. We spent 4 days here, and we went to the infamous golden gate bridge, the alcatraz island, lombard street, palace of art, and japanese garden. Had a lot of fun here, wish i could come back here again someday

WinterBreak2006 :: Hollywood, California

|
A must-go-place that we visited on the last day in los angeles was the hollywood. it's the home of the rich, the famous and talented actors and actress  . we spent the early morning walking along the walk of fame
and we were lucky to see sarah jessica parker (TV:sex and the city) accompanying her husband, actor matthew broderick (the stepford wives) receiving an honor to have his name on the walk of fame
later in the evening we went to the ripleys believe it or not, and then buy some souvenirs at the shop before going to the hollywood hill to take some pictures
we managed to get to the closest distance from the hollywood sign with the help from a man who lives there . ahhh..it's a very cool place, hope i can come here again next time

WinterBreak 2006 :: California Adventure Park

|
Tempat kedua yg dilawati di sini, california adventure park. terletak betul-betul depan disneyland california, tempat ni sebenarnya lebih kepada them park untuk kanak-kanak, tapi kitorg masih mau pergi .jadi la kanak-kanak sehari, naik byk cool ride 
masa ke disneyland dah pun lewat petang, jadi tak banyak amik gambar. tapi seronok tengok disneyland punya 50th homecoming
mungkin tak cukup untuk sehari kat sini. kitorg akan dtg lagi 
penat, tapi mmg seronok. kena tido awal, esok nak ke Seaworld di San Diego

WinterBreak 2006 :: Universal Studios di Hollywood, California
|
|
Lepas tgk pemandangan kat grand canyon, kitorg terus ke los angeles kat california. Memandu lebih kurang 8 jam, sampai sana pun dah dekat 9 malam. Tinggal kat days inn, hotel paling murah yg ade. tapi nasib baik bilik dia besar & selesa.
pintu Universal Studios Hollywood
kitorg berada di sini untuk 4 hari 3 malam. hari pertama jalan-jalan ke universal studios hollywood, tempat lahir filem-filem disukai ramai, cam king kong, war of the worlds, back to the future, jurassic park dan juge desperate housewives.
kat sini dapat belajar byk benda, macamana diorg buat filem ngan idea-idea yang hebat. seronok jugak

Grand Canyon -->magnificent~ . Tempat ni dah dijadikan salah satu taman negara dalam US. Ini tempat kedua yang kitorg lawat untuk winter break ni  . bertolak dari Las Vegas jan 4 dan sampai sini malam hari yang sama. esoknya awal-awal pagi datang melawat.

Dalam perjalanan ke Grand Canyon, sempat singgah ke Hoover Dam kat sempadan Arizona-Nevada.Dulu tempat ni guna untuk jana elektrik, tapi skarang dah jadi tempat pelancongan

WinterBreak 2006 :: Las Vegas, Nevada

haha cuti! dah lama tak dapat cuti panjang. kali ni buat trip ke Las Vegas, Nevada. Flight kitorg dari minneapolis pukul 7.00 pg, err.. 2 Jan, sampai kat las vegas dalam pukul 9.00pg.
sampai-sampai terus gi berjalan sbb takleh check in hotel lagi  . pegi stratosphere tower, main ride,makan-makan baru check in.malam tu jalan-jalan kat sepanjang Las Vegas boulevard.

Las Vegas ni sebenarnya bandar kasino kat tengah-tengah padang pasir Nevada. kat sini ade byk replika bangunan atau monumen terkenal dunia..err.. cam eiffel tower kat paris, gondola kat venice, colosseum kat roma, trevi fountain, piramid, arc de triomphe ngan macam-macam lagi.
Hari kedua, pagi tu main rollercoaster kat manhattan express. lepas tu gi excalibur, tgk ikan kat shark reef. malam tu pulak jalan kat las vegas boulevard tgk show air, show lanun ngan show volcano. naik eiffel tower tgk pemandangan vegas dari atas.
Hari terakhir, siap-siap packing barang. Pegi ke kedai souvenir beli keychain ngan baju. Cuti untuk 3 hari 2 malam kat Las Vegas dah abis. Memang satu pengalaman yg sgt menarik .

Sebenarnya belum raya lagi ni.. lambat lagi. ni masa majlis buka puasa kat riverbank commons.wat sesi foto untuk raya dulu, pastu baru bukak puasa. try anta gambar ni kat utusan, tapi xde rezeki nak kuar surat khabar. xpelah raya tetap raya

yeah..ni gambar-gambar sekitar university of minnesota twin cities masa fall (luruh).cuaca baik pagi tu, so lepas kelas jalan-jalan amik angin.universiti ni univeristi awam, jumlah pelajar lebih kurang 45 000 orang termasuk undergraduate, graduate ngan yang buat masters & phd. ranking terbaik dalam US untuk chemical engineering, tapi yang lain-lain pun tak kurang hebat. pelajar malaysia kat sini ade lebih kurang 150 orang..takla rasa kesunyian.rasa beruntung sgt dapat belajar kat sini.
sambung belajar kat sini?..insyaAllah kalau ade rezeki. yang penting sekarang nak dapatkan degree dulu, balik malaysia tolong negara
